At the beginning of the first lockdown in the UK in March 2020 everything that possibly could turned to online platforms. This first lockdown made me think a lot about people who would be indoors a whole lot more, with little to no contact with actual people.
I created this Gentle Chair Yoga Video with more elderly people in mind, the movements and stretches are simple to follow, gentle in intensity and (I hope) delivered in a chatty and friendly way. I even created this Full Body Chair Stretch session with a family member in mind – A nice one to do after your daily walk or mid-afternoon to ease off any tight spots.
It is so important for our physical and mental wellbeing to be as mobile as we can , that age old quote “The body benefits from movement, the mind benefits from stillness” springs to mind. I hope these gentle desk and chair stretch routines really help you find a bit of both!
